Multi-turn potentiometers have wire-wound type and hybrid type. Their performance is different. Multi-turn wire-wound potentiometers have good stability, while hybrid potentiometers have infinitely small solution and longer life expectancy, which can meet different needs.

Advantages of contactless type
1. Long life expectancy: The contactless multi-turn potentiometers are different from the traditional potentiometers, which use the non-contact working principle, so their expected working life is much longer than the traditional multi-turn potentiometers with wire wound resistance, which can usually reach tens of millions of turns.
2. Programmable output signal: The programmable characteristics of contactless multi-turn potentiometer make its output signal very flexible, taking R22M as an example, its effective electrical angle can be set and realized within 3800°, 3 turns, 5 turns, 10 turns, and son on.

R22M multi-turn contactless potentiometer

HSM22M multi-turn contactless potentiometer
This Japanese-origin product uses a Hall IC chips internally, and the applied voltage supports 5V, 12V, 24V, available for single output or dual output.
R30M multi-turn contactless potentiometer
This is an absolute multi-turn contactless potentiometer with 30/60 turns available. Zinc alloy housing makes it strong and reliable, with an external zero setting interface.
